All money received is deposited with, and administered through, the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.

 

These funds are designated to support three priorities of South Dakota Salutes:

1. Loss of Life: To provide immediate funds to the families of South Dakota “First Responders” who have died in the line of duty.

2. Special Events: To hold events showing appreciation to first responders, military, and military veterans.

3. Special Needs: To fund critical unmet needs of South Dakota emergency response organizations.
