South Dakota Salutes aims to support first responders

Today’s news is filled with stories about the men and women that serve South Dakota communities as police, firefighters and first responders, and those who serve our country in the military. These heroes make us feel safe in a chaotic world.

First responders and soldiers put their lives on the line every day as they protect and serve, all too often without a strong sense of appreciation from those they protect. South Dakota Salutes is there to show appreciation for their daily sacrifices, and when necessary, to financially support the families of those who pay the ultimate sacrifice.

The second annual marksmanship competition September 25-26 is billed as an appreciation event planned to raise money and show support for this important cause. And it is a great opportunity for South Dakotans to say thank you to all of our heroes. Please help us spread the word about this event, this organization and its very important mission.

Aim to Win

First responders and military personnel are often very competitive individuals; the South Dakota Salutes event gives them a great reason to participate in various shooting events, while challenging each other for Top Gun or Top Team bragging rights. View the details on our 2016 event poster.
